What is the Lupient Lifetime Powertrain Warranty?
The Lupient Lifetime Powertrain Warranty is an extension of the Lupient Automotive Group's commitment to giving you unmatched buyer protection.
Is this coverage really for a lifetime?
Yes. If you own the vehicle for 5, 10, 25 years, or even longer. Our Lifetime Powertrain Warranty will cover repairs for covered components.
Okay, what's the catch?
No catch. It's offered to you at no additional charge. All that's required is that you follow the manufacturer's recommended guidelines for servicing and maintaining your vehicle and perform those services with a Lupient dealership.
What's covered by the Lupient Lifetime Powertrain Warranty?
Your lifetime coverage includes all internally lubricated components of the engine, the transmission, and some key components of your axle/drivetrain assemblies.
Is there a limit of liability?
Yes, the maximum amount paid out on any claim is limited by the NADA average retail value of the vehicle at the time of claim.
Am I required to regularly maintain/service my vehicle? If so, how often?
Yes. For the warranty to remain in force, you must service your vehicle according to the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations within 30 days or 1,000 miles of the specific factory-recommended service. That means you have a total of 60 days (30 before and 30 after) or 2,000 miles (1,000 before and 1,000 after) to have the required service performed.
Why does Lupient suggest additional maintenance services?
Manufacturers require a minimum level of services. Your driving conditions and our weather and road conditions often need additional service work performed to keep your vehicle running at peak levels. While you're only required to complete the minimum services outlined in your Lupient Lifetime Powertrain Warranty agreement, we strongly encourage you to follow your service advisor's recommendations when additional services should be performed.
Can I change my own oil?
No. All maintenance for your vehicle must be performed at a Lupient service center.
Where do I go to maintain my vehicle under this warranty?
All maintenance must be performed at a Lupient dealership.

- Repairs to or replacement of any part not listed above.
- Replacement of or failure related to any seal or gasket.
- Any repairs or replacements not specifically authorized by LDS.
- Collision, accident, vandalism, neglect, abuse, fire, theft, lightning, windstorm, hail, flooding, malicious mischief, riot civil commotion, war or any other cause not connected with the normal.
- Some makes, models, and drivetrain types (such as electric) do not qualify.
